Ferry Terminal in Cozumel

Cozumel Island
Directions Ferry Boat to the island.
Description Ferry runs regularly between Playa del Carmen and Cozumel. Approximately 12 crossings per day starting at 6:00am. Last boat departs Playa del Carmen at 11:00pm. Last boat back from Cozumel departs at 10:00pm. Crossing Cozumel Channel takes 40 to 45 minutes.

Tulum Mayan Ruins
Directions Approximately fifty miles south of Playa del Carmen off main road.
Description Splendid ruins of a Mayan walled city on a high bluff next to the Caribbean Sea. Only major Mayan site next to the ocean. Famous for the frescoe paintings and the "Diving God"

Xcaret Eco-Archeological Park
Directions About four miles south off main road to Tulum.
Description Once part of a private ranch, Xcaret is now open to the public. Swim with the dolphins and navigate underground rivers. Plenty of wildlife to view and enjoy.

Xel-ha Lagoon
Directions Approximately thirty-five miles south on main road to Tulum.
Description Great snorkeling in brackish water lagoons carved out of the natural limestone formations. Best to get there early as crowds start building up around 10:00am.
